| | FAWN’s MISSION FAWN (Friends of Animals With Needs), an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization, rescues and helps stray and abandoned cats and dogs. FAWN raises funds to spay and neuter felines and canines to control overpopulation and reduce the need for euthanasia.
FAWN rescues cats and dogs and supplies food and needed care, including testing and immunization. Cats not suitable for adoption are maintained in four cat colonies, or placed in a suitable barn. As fund are available, FAWN home fosters adoptable animals and provides financial assistance to people with animals in crisis. FAWN also matches pets with seniors and families. FAWN raises awareness through public education, the media, and joint projects with other animal groups and agencies about benefits of spay/neuter, caring for pets, and information on existing laws protecting companion animals. |
